I’m not a doctor, so I can’t tell you exactly what was going on. What I can tell you is there was an unconscious patient on an operating table covered with sheets…except for a flacid penis sticking up through the sheets.

My weekend plan was to catch the Mets game Saturday afternoon and then take a train to Pennsylvania to visit some family friends there. To make a long story short, we never made it to the ballgame…er, well, we made it, but we didn’t get to actually see any of it.
Louie, Jason, Diana, Sergio, Mauricio, Esam, and myself journeyed back to New York this weekend. Again I think a good time was had by all. We saw just about every part of Manhattan we missed.

We’ve finally completed our first week here in New Jersey. It’s really been an interesting experience. We visit every department in the hospital to do our testing and that’s something I can honestly say I’ve never done. You don’t usually go to a hospital for a tour. But it was a neat experience because in addition to visiting each department, we got to interact with the people in those departments. Seeing how much fun these nurses has makes me reconsider my vocation!
We've gotten settled at the Holiday Inn in Springfield New Jersey. It's been a busy couple of days filled with adjustments, frustrations, long hours, and some good times.
I'm currently flying high somewhere above the U.S. on approach to Newark airport in New Jersey.
